Shot blasting machine, also known as shot blasting cleaning machine, is a machine that uses projectiles to strike and clean the surface of the workpiece. It is a kind of mechanical equipment that realizes automatic cleaning by accelerating projectiles such as steel sand, steel shot or iron sand to a high speed in the form of impact during work. The shot blasting machine consists of a chamber body, an impeller and a directional sleeve, of which the impeller is one of the main components; the chamber body is equipped with an air inlet and an air outlet to ensure the cleanliness of the chamber.

When the high-speed rotating impeller blades drive the air in the air duct to be inhaled from the air inlet at a very high speed and enter the dust removal box through the dust suction filter bag installed on the fan, then the dust is thrown into the separator by centrifugal force ( A screw conveyor chain is installed at the bottom of the separator) and then sent to the spray booth through the screw conveyor device. The atomized paint particles are mixed with the atomized compressed air and then enter the conveying pipeline together and are sprayed through the spray gun nozzle of the spray booth to the required area. Treated workpiece surface to achieve the desired coating effect.

Shot blasting machine is suitable for degassing of castings and forgings before heat treatment and sand cleaning of castings. It is mainly used for deburring of auto parts, construction machinery parts, etc. and demagnetization cleaning of inner and outer rings of bearings. It can also be used for large steel Derusting and oxide scale removal of structural parts. In addition, it can also be used as a pretreatment equipment to quench and temper steel or remove stress layers before quenching and tempering.
